Welcome to Taverna La Fenice, a hidden gem located in the enchanting city of Venice. Nestled in a quiet courtyard at Campiello Marinoni o de la Fenice, this picturesque restaurant offers a refined ambiance that captures the essence of Italian elegance and culinary artistry.
As you approach the restaurant, you are greeted by a beautifully decorated facade that whispers of a theatre-inspired vibe, perfectly complementing its proximity to the renowned Teatro La Fenice. It's an ideal escape from the bustling streets, providing an intimate setting for those looking to immerse themselves in authentic Venetian dining.
Guests rave about the atmosphere. One patron, Liz B, happened upon Taverna La Fenice and couldn't resist stopping for a glass of wine, drawn in by its elegance. This sentiment is echoed by Bethany Cox, who cherished a family evening here, remarking on the seafood spaghetti that left a lasting impression. The restaurant's combination of stylish decor and serene surroundings creates a unique dining experience, allowing you to savor your meal away from the crowds.
The staff at Taverna La Fenice have also received commendations for their warmth and professionalism. Customers have noted the attentive service, with many highlighting the friendliness of the waitstaff. Whether you’re enjoying a cocktail on the patio, as Eric Morse did, or relishing a decadent meal like the perfectly cooked steak described by Oldrey Leite, the team's dedication to hospitality enhances every facet of your visit.
However, it's worth noting that while the quality of food and service is commendable, the pricing can lean on the higher side. Guests have mentioned some confusion regarding menu pricing, particularly when it comes to group servings. That said, the flavors and presentation of the dishes are often deemed worth the expense. Ana Marija Wraber appreciated the well-crafted cocktails and even the delightful snacks offered alongside her drinks.
Ultimately, Taverna La Fenice stands out not only for its location and atmosphere but also for the passion infused into each dish. If you’re seeking a memorable dining experience infused with Venetian charm, look no further than this exquisite restaurant. Come and discover why visitors leave enchanted and eager to return!
“ We loved the vibe and style of this restaurant when we passed it by and we decided to come back for some drinks in the evening. The atmosphere is great, the location is perfect - not busy at all. All the waiters were really nice and provided great service! Wine and a cocktail were great and we even got a snack with our drinks (salted peanuts). Great experience! Dog-friendly. ”
“ Ricardo was awesome!!! He took such great care of us as we sat in the comfy chairs on the patio out front. Weather was perfect and the cocktails were too! ”
“ Came across this beautiful restaurant/bar by accident. So glad we did! It was so elegant, we could not help but stop off for a glass of vino. ”
“ I came here with my family, and it turned out to be my favorite evening of our trip to Venice. Everything was perfect. The restaurant is set in a quiet courtyard, away from the masses, creating the most intimate summer atmosphere. I had a seafood spaghetti dish, and it was beautiful - I’m still thinking about it! The staff were lovely! Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Venice. ”
“ Elegant but pricey restaurant with great food Place Stylish and leaning toward the fancy side. Beautifully decorated with a theatre-inspired vibe. Located in a quiet area, right next to a hotel and the Teatro La Fenice. Staff Service was professional, polite, and very friendly. Everything felt attentive and of high quality. The lady host seemed very educated, but at the same time, felt cold and slightly rude. Not sure if that was the intention. Food The steak was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, with sides that complemented it well. Dessert was very good, though on the small side for the price. Prices Prices are on the higher end, but fair for the quality - in some terms. However, the menu was confusing as some items appeared priced for two people but were actually per person. On top of that, the cover charge and service charge felt excessive and unnecessary. The price for water also seemed exaggerated. ”
